Such was the legacy, above, of one of the most influential Freemasons of not only the 19th century but of all time, Albert Pike.  He was, a general in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War, or War of Secession.  To this day the extreme racist and traitor is still regarded with deference by "Adept" Masons as "this god-like leader - this King among men - the greatest Freemason - this Prince in the House of Solomon and Hiram - this Captain fit to stand by Caesar and give direction - a man who raised the Scottish Rite from a comparatively obscure position … to its present unrivalled state as a High-Grade system of Masonry," despite his real identity revealing him as a white supremacist, a racist, conspirer, traitor, war criminal, bigot and genocide zealot.

To illustrate the measure of his religious bigotry, in 1855 he demanded that Catholics in the United States be barred from exercising the rights and privileges of American citizens.  Pike's own words were reported in the Arkansas Gazette: "I come now to the 8th article, or the anti-Catholic feature of the platform.  I announced my principles on this subject distinctly and emphatically to the State Council [of Masons] of Arkansas on 30th April last.  I then said, and it has been some months in print, it is absolutely certain that, except the French in Louisiana and elsewhere, the Catholics, as a general rule, admit the power to the Pope to direct their conduct in civil and political matters."

The man certainly had ego, drive and ambition, characteristics very much praised and admired in our materialistic society; so long as it is not accompanied with a social conscience or with a refusal to play by established rules.  But Albert Pike was entrenched in self-esteem without being distracted by a meddlesome social conscience.

Even though he was an otherwise diabolic man, Pike once wrote of his disquiet and disgust on learning that "JAH-BUL-ON", the pagan deity of the Masonic hierarchy, was the Sacred Word.  He initially called it a mongrel word and was outraged when he heard the name for the first time, seeing it associated with the Masonic cult that was so dear to him.  This was obviously just a temporary setback to his ambitions LINK because in his undertaking to revise Scottish Rite rituals he made no attempt to put the mongrel down. 

Once he accepted Jah-Bul-On as the Sacred Word, the first in the unholy trinity, Jah or Jahweh, the God of the Hebrews, might have appeased his conscience enough to make him gradually shift to accept the othe two.  The other two of the three separate personalities in the compound deity, Bul and On, or Baal and Osiris, represented, respectively, the ancient Canaanite fertility god associated with "licentious rites of imitative magic", and the ancient Egyptian god of the underworld whose name has been an appellation of the Devil for more than two thousand years.

If Freemasonry could not initially make Pike accept Jah-Bul-On as a sacred word, or the Sacred Word as deposited in the Vaulted Shrine, his subordinates who are "exalted" in the Holy Royal Arch ceremony similarly have no option.  They are obliged to look up with reverence and submit to it cheerfully without question. This "Sacred Word", therefore, so central to the Freemasonic occult, which was initially cast aside as a mongrel word by Albert Pike, to the minions in the Craft, people he respected little, they are not even afforded an opinion on the Sacred Word.  This exposes the "don't-do-as-I-do", "do-as-I-say" rule of the elite.  It seems as though the only ever present feature of Masonry is hypocrisy.

During his time in the Freemasons, in the Knights of the Golden Circle, in the Confederate Army, and in the Ku Klux Klan, Pike, more than most, learned and used with great effect, the high-level Masonic legacy that if you convince a little man he is serving some great social, civil or national cause, he will do practically anything for you.  ("Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities." ~ Voltaire}  The same legacy was utilised widely with great effect before Pike's time and has been utilised with great effect ever since.

When the American Civil War was won by the Federal or Unionist North in 1865, by February 1867 Tennessee Blacks got the right to vote in the American elections.  That spring, Albert Pike and a small group of ex-Confederate Generals held several meetings in Nashville at the Maxwell House Hotel to form the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.  The name was taken from the Greek word "kuklos", or "circle".  It was no mystery to pro-Unionists that the Knights of the [Golden] Circle had reappeared.  The knights of the Ku Klux Klan was a terrorist counterattack, beginning in Tennessee, designed to block Reconstruction and reverse the outcome of the Civil War.  The Klan and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry were one and the same enterprise, continuing the imperial effort behind the slaveowners' rebellion.

Pike was appointed chief judicial officer of the KKK, or "Invisible Empire".  He was the Klan's expert on secrecy of organisation, having revised Scottish Rite Masonic rituals.  As a result of his experiences with secret societies and secret rituals, he was happy to oblige his good friend Nathan Bedford Forrest when asked to write the Klan's military manual and rituals.  At one of the later Nashville meetings, General Nathan Bedford Forrest was chosen Imperial Wizard of the Klan.  Albert Pike organised the Ku Klux Klan in Arkansas after General Forrest appointed him the Grand Dragon of that "Realm", or state section.  The Tennessee leaders of the Ku Klux Klan at the time of its founding were prominent Masons and, as such, were all subordinate to Sovereign Grand Commander Pike on an all-inclusive basis.

Earlier, on 12 April 1864, during the American Civil War, at Fort Pillow, Tennessee, Nathan Bedford Forrest accepted the surrender of Federal Union troops  Without cause he murdered the full company of black troops.

After the Civil War the Ku Klux Klan fought Reconstruction with terrorism, wearing ghostly costumes and observing satanic rituals.  The Klan's lynchings and "night rides" struck fear into Negro communities, aimed at reimposing de facto slavery on the former black slaves in the United States.

The sick and arrogant defenders of the lynchings justified the praxis by calling it "psychological warfare that took advantage of their adversary's ignorant and superstitious nature" as they regarded the situation.  The same KKKers ritualistically mutilated and castrated the blacks, lynching them in public before mobs.  The purpose was to achieve psychological impact of dehumanising not only the victims but also the dumbstruck world population of the period.

(This happened more recently to the TV spectators of the unfolding tragedies in the likes of Bosnia, Rwanda and Zaire.  By saying or doing nothing everyone is dehumanised.)

Albert Pike's old comrade and financial backer, Robert Toombs LINK, returned from England in 1868.  Toombs was appointed dictator of Scottish Rite activities inside Georgia, running, along with his family, all aspects of the Klan within Georgia. LINK

The President of the USA by that time, Ulysses Simpson Grant, said that the Klan worked "by force and terror to prevent all political action not in accord with the views of the members; to deprive coloured citizens of the right to bear arms and of the right to a free ballot; to suppress schools [i.e., burn them] in which coloured children were taught; and to reduce the coloured people to a condition akin to that of slavery."

In his newspaper, The Memphis Daily Appeal, for 16 April 1868, publisher Albert Pike wrote: "With Negroes for witnesses and jurors, the administration of justice becomes a blasphemous mockery.  A Loyal League of Negroes can cause any white man to be arrested, and can prove any charges it chooses to have made against him.  The disfranchised people of the South ... can find no protection for property, liberty, or life, except in secret association. ... We would unite every white man in the South who is opposed to Negro suffrage into one great Order of Southern Brotherhood, with an organisation complete, active, vigorous, in which a few should execute the concentrated will of all, and whose every existence should be concealed from all but its members."

"The same year, Pike pontificated: "Freemasonry is one faith, one great religion, one great common star around which men of all tongues and languages shall assemble."  He added, however: "I took my obligation to white men; not Negroes.  When I have to either accept Negroes as brethren or leave Masonry, I shall leave it."

Chilean Cardinal, Jose Maria Caroy Rodriguez, reported: "Giuseppe Mazzini and Albert Pike co-founded for Freemasons in the higher levels the New Calladium Reformed Rite of Freemasonry, which worships Lucifer." 

Masons of the lower degrees would shudder at this knowledge, yet they are still obliged to preserve the memory of these diabolists "in their absence as in their presence", and are told to "look up with reverence and submit with cheerfulness to all lawfully constituted authority, whether Civil or Masonic regulation”.  How absurd is that?

It was claimed that the master of Italian Freemasonry and terrorism, Giuseppe Mazzini, wrote a letter in 1870 to Albert Pike on how to coordinate world Freemasonry, part of which read: "We ... must create a supreme rite, which shall remain secret, into which shall be called those Masons of high degree whom we shall select.  Vis-á-vis the other brothers of freemasonry, we must demand utter secrecy.  Through this supreme rite, we shall govern the Masonry, which will thus become the international centre, all the more powerful that its leadership shall be unknown."

Just how unknown the leadership was, is borne out by the fact that Mazzini seemed unaware that a Supreme Council was already in operation.  It had been in existence in Scotland since 1846 with a Mother lodge having previously been formulated in the USA in Charleston in 1801 LINK, before expanding to other parts of the world.  This included much of Britain's nobility.  It is possible Mazzini had learned that a Supreme Council already existed and he was just fishing around for details from Pike.

Whatever the reason was for Mazzini's letter is open to conjecture, but an anti-Mason, Dominico Margiotta, acknowledged that the super-Masonry project did in fact come to fruition with directorates in North America, Uruguay, Naples and Calcutta.

With the publication of Albert Pike's "Morals and Dogma" the same year, 1870,  Pike declared war on Christianity thus: "We do not see the Churches and Priesthoods of Christendom relinquishing their old task of governing man by imaginary terrorism. ... Masonry does not occupy itself by crying down this world, nor exhort us to detach our hearts from this earthly life. ... The law of our being is love of Life, and its interests and affections of earth."

Despite this would-be love of earthly life, Pike ridiculed the ignorance of the bulk of Freemasons, that vast majority who are admitted to only "Blue Masonry", the first three of the thirty-three degrees of Masonry.  He wrote: "Masonry of the higher grades teaches great truths of the intellectual science; but as for the rudiments and first principles, Blue Masonry is absolutely mute. ... The simianlike Christianism of Blue Masonry, has made of her an enervated and impotent society with grand and resonant pretensions and poor realities."

The firm standpoint of Supreme Council' figures like Pike is that "Truth, to the initiate, is not for everyone; pearls must not be thrown before swine."  This attitude stinks not only of the convenience of power but of the arrogance of power.

Pike obviously realised that Freemasonry could not be the power it was - and it is even more powerful today - without hoodwinking the "simianlike" lower classes in Blue Masonry, making them believe they are a welcome part of the "arch that locks the others together", rather than just slaves; an irritation and nuisance but essential to build and maintain the pyramid, as it were.

On top-down organisations, Pike also wrote in his book, Morals and Dogma: "The Blue Degrees are but the outer court ... of the Temple.  Part of the symbols is displayed there to the Initiate, but he is intentionally misled by false interpretations.  It is not intended that he shall understand them, but it is intended that he shall imagine he understands them.  Their true explication are reserved for the Adepts, the Princes of Masonry. ..."

So much for the virtues of brotherhood.

Publicly substituting for God the worship of nature as a principle of generation, Pike dogmatised: "Nature (signifying the sum total of existence) that is powerful, wise active, and good; Nature originated within itself or perhaps it always was and has been, the cause of its own existence; the mind of the Universe and its own Providence.  Clearly, there is a plan and purpose from which proceed order, beauty, and harmony.  But this is the plan and purpose of Nature."

He further suggests: "It is a mere change of name to call the possessor of these qualities Nature and not God."

His sundry writings; his correspondence with Giuseppe Mazzini; his book, Morals and Dogma; his writings as a newspaper editor; and his other correspondence are generally available through the library of the Scottish Rite Southern Jurisdiction located at 1733 16th Street, NW, Washington DC.  A quote by Albert Pike, given by this organisation to researchers, is available in the Vertical File marked "Albert Pike - Lucifer Quote" and is laid down thus: "In France in 1889, Pike said: 'That which we must say to the crowd is, we worship a God, but it is the God one adores without superstition. ... The Masonic religion should be, by all of us initiates of the high degrees, maintained in the purity of the Luciferian Doctrine.  If Lucifer were not God, would Adonai (the God of the Christians) whose deeds prove his cruelty, perfidy and hatred of man, barbarism and repulsion to science, would Adonai and his priests calumniate him?

"'Yes, Lucifer is God, and unfortunately Adonai is also God.  For the eternal law is that there is no light without shade, no beauty without ugliness, no white without black, for the absolute can only exist as two Gods. ... Thus the doctrine of Satanism is a heresy [Satan and Lucifer are synonymous]; and the true and pure philosophical religion is the belief in Lucifer, the equal of Adonai; but Lucifer, God of Light and God of Good, is struggling for humanity against Adonai, the God of Darkness and Evil.'."

This satanic speech corresponds exactly with Pike's evil glorification of the Manichean sect, beginning on page 565 of his Morals and Dogma in which he mentions the satanic "balance": "Manes, the founder of the ... Manicheans, who had lived and had been distinguished among the Persian Magi, profited by the doctrines of Scythianus, a Cabalist ... of the times of the Apostles. ... [Manes taught that] There are two Gods, one of Good and the other of Evil, each independent, eternal, chief of a distinct Empire. ...

"The Evil God, Satan is the Genius of matter alone ... the Supreme Being [was] too pure to come in immediate contact with matter ... the Prince of Darkness ... made Adonai, whose soul was of the Divine light, and his body of matter, so that he belonged to both Empires. ... The Demons created Eve, who seduced him into an act of sensualism, that enfeebled him, and bound him anew in the bonds of matter.  This is repeated in the case of every man that lives. ..."The Royal secret, of which you are [Prince] [i.e., Adept Mason] ... is the Secret of the Universal Equilibrium between Good and Evil, and Light and Darkness."

In 1871, Albert Pike wrote to Giuseppe Mazzini, proposing that they provoke a "formidable social cataclysm for the purpose of conquering atheistic-Communism and Christianity by making them exterminate each other."  It was intended that this would lead to the desired despotism of Satanic Freemasonry.

Such was Pike's inability to define the difference between good and evil.

The monument honouring Klan founder Albert Pike was dedicated to him thirty-nine days after the Masonic Teddy Roosevelt's inauguration in 1901.  It survives to this day on federal government property in Judiciary Square, Washington DC.  His cold stare of evil that has defamed the capital for over a century, standing in stark testimony to the unsuspecting, benightedness of the American people.

Wait a minute.  Hold that result!  That all changed dramatically on 20 June 2020.

But why was the statue put there in the first place?  What a slur on the American establishment. They put on the monument that Pike was a jurist, a military commander, and a poet. A racist rhyme of his about the KKK, "The Pale Brigade", heralds the extent of his Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth; along with his "profound" appreciation of verse:
